Productive week for Piccadilly Gardens Neighbourhood Policing Team

The Piccadilly Gardens Neighbourhood Policing Team have had another productive week, carrying out a range of proactive duties and securing a number of positive outcomes.

PC Simm arrested a male who had been circulated as wanted in connection with an animal cruelty offence. When located, the male was also found in possession of a wooden cosh and cannabis. He was subsequently bailed to allow further enquiries into the animal cruelty offence to be completed and has been charged in relation to the weapon and drug offences.

PC Cross made two arrests during the week, including a male who had failed to appear at court and another who was found breaching his bail conditions by being in Piccadilly Gardens.

PC Zamecnik also arrested a male who had failed to attend court, while PC Duffy located a male who had been recalled to prison.

PC Lomax further contributed to the team’s activity by arresting a male who had breached his sex offender requirements.

The range of arrests this week demonstrates the team’s commitment to pursuing offenders and keeping Piccadilly Gardens a safe place for the public.
